XY wrist warmers

The XY wrist warmers are easy to make and gives your hands the extra warmth they need in the colder season, and the casual design suits both women, men and children. They have a bit of extra length so they can be folded down on both sides, or pulled up along the arm. And if you like extra long, tiny or extra big wrist warmers it is super easy to adjust both the lenght and width, which is described in the pattern. The XY wrist warmers are great gifts and can give any outfit a pop of color.
To make a matching set you can crochet a XY Duo Shawl or XY Scarf with the same yarn as the wrist warmers. Both designs use the same stitch and matches perfectly to the XY wrist warmers. It’s the XY pattern family!

Yarn: 2 x 25g Du Store Alpakka, Dreamline Pure (100% Alpaca, 25g/125m), colour 433.
You can use any wool or acrylic yarn you like since the size is so easy to customize. Use a hook size that fits your yarn.

  1. I am unable to download pattern crochet wrist pattern. Have been going in circles trying. Please if you can, email actual pattern to my email where I don’t have to “download.” I’d really appreciate.

  2. Dear Johanna,
A Droplets and Dreamy Lattice shawl (as well as some pocket shawls by other designers) made for well received Christmas gifts this season but to my surprise these last minute XY wrist warmers in self-striping wool stole the show! By popular request I have been crocheting more of these wrist warmers these past few weeks. One person even wears one made with virgin wool at night to soothe her arthritic hand.
Thank you for this fun pattern, as well as for your many lovely and artistic shawl patterns, which I have made over the years and those which are still in my to do basket. I so appreciate your skill in designing gorgeous patterns, which are clear and easy to read.
    Kind regards, Nellie
