Radiant Star is a blanket with the shape of an eight-pointed star. The pattern is designed so that the blanket easily can be made to any size you want and can be used for both baby blankets and larger throws or afghans. The texture of this blanket, with extra high ridges, makes it both warm and beautiful.

Today Scheepjes celebrate 10 years of Whirl, and are releasing three brand new Birthday Cakes!
These special edition Birthday Cakes are designed to mix, match, or connect into one magnificent gradient.
I used all three of them to make this big Radiant Star! You can use one or two cakes as well, as the pattern is super easy to customize size wise.

Yarn & Size:

To make this Radiant Star I used one of each Scheepjes Whirl Birthday Cakes. I used them all starting from the center of the cake in the following order: 799 Piece of Cake, 798 Berry on Top and 797 Cutie Pie.

I used crochet hook 3.0mm for my blanket and it measures approx 135 cm from point to point.
