The Lost Ways Shawl is a triangular shawl that is crocheted top down. Each row is made differently on each side of the shawl, which gives an interesting look and makes the pattern more varying to make.

You can easily adjust the size of the shawl by decreasing or increasing the number of repetitions of the main pattern. This is a written pattern that includes many pictures showing each row and neccesary steps of the pattern.

Stitches used in this pattern (US terms): Chain, slip stitch back loop only, single crochet, double crochet, front post double crochet *, puff (described in the pattern).

Yarn & Size:

To make my Lost Ways Shawl I used 1 x Magic Yarn Ball “Kingfisher” (50% cotton/50% acrylic, 350g =1330m/4 strands), triangle shawl option, smooth colour changes. You find Magic Yarn Ball here www.magicyarnball.com, where you can also make your own cakes and choose your favorite colors.

If you use the same yarn and crochet hook as the pattern indicates, the scarf will have the measurements seen in the picture below.
