Flora Blanket

Flora Blanket

The Flora Blanket has a rectangular shape and measures approx 107 x 137 cm after blocking. The Blanket is made of 48 squares, which you can sew or crochet together as the pattern describes, and a large decorative border (with tassels!) that frames them. You can easily change the size of this blanket by adding or removing squares.

For my Flora Blanket I used warm and bold colors to get the feeling of late summer heading towards autumn. The yarn I used is Scheepjes Metropolis (75% Extra Fine Merino Wool, 25% Nylon), which is both warm and lightweight, and comes in 80 different colors. So regardless if you want blushing spring colors, sophisticated cold shades or an earthy autum palette, I’m sure you will find the right colors for your Flora Blanket.
