The Ocean State of Mind shawl is crocheted from one side to the other which creates the shape of a slightly asymmetric triangle, almost symmetrical. The combination of moss stitches and post stitches in this pattern gives the shawl an interesting and modern texture. This shawl can be made in any size which is described in the pattern.
My Ocean State of Mind shawl is crocheted with a 3.5 mm hook and the yarn Scheepjes Whirl (one cake) color 556, Mediterranean MooHa, starting from the middle of the cake. The shawl measures approximately 155 x 115 x 95 cm. If you like a bigger shawl you can add a skein of Scheepjes Whirlette.

I asume you mean that you like to make a rectangular shawl with the same pattern? Im sorry, it would need quite some adjustment, and I would need to write another pattern to help you. There is no easy way to just remake it rectangular.
