The Tunisian Dream blanket is a rectangular blanket that is crocheted from the top down in rows with
tunisian crochet. The blanket is crocheted with tunisian reverse stitches and tunisian simple stitches,
which means that the blanket will not curl up at the edges. Should it curl up a little anyway, the edge
crocheted with a regular crochet hook will remove this. This pattern is beginner friendly and teaches you how to change colors without cutting the yarn.
Pattern features:
- Written pattern in English (US and UK terminology), Danish, Dutch, Japanese, Spanish and Swedish.
- Photo tutorials to show the neccesary steps of the pattern.
- Directions how to change color without cutting the yarn.
- Full color guide.
- Directions how to customize the size.
- Yarn details and amounts.
Stitches used in this pattern (US terms): Chain, slip stitch, single crochet, tunisian simple stitch, tunisian reverse stitch, tunisian last stitch.
Yarn & Size:
To make my Tunisian Dream Blanket I used one half of the Scheepjes Scrumptious Colour Pack. The pattern guides you through every color change throughout the pattern.
The other half of the colour pack was used to make the Scrumptious Squares Blanket.
If you use the same yarn and the amount of yarn specified in the pattern, the blanket will be approximately 175 x 120cm before blocking.
Hook: Tunisian crochet hook 5.0mm with a 100cm cable, and crochet hook 4.0 mm.
