The Tasty Tamarind shawl has a triangular shape and is crocheted top down. The size of this shawl is easy to customize, which is described in the pattern. With one skein of Scheepjes Whirligig 450g (I used the color 210, Plum to Ochre) you will recieve a large generous shawl that measures approx. 194 x 144 x 144 cm after blocking.

I am trying to crochet the Tasty Tamarind. I am confused going from row five to row six. How do I do 1 dc blo in a chain?

Hi! You do it in the same way as with the dc’s. If you take a close look at the chain you can see one front loop, one back loop and a loop under those two 🙂

Hi, Yes it would work just fine. The pattern tells you where to add rows if you are using a thinner yarn than I used 🙂
